MC611 1-Channel Solid State Amplifier

The monoblock MC611 Quad Balanced Power Amplifier produces 600 Watts of power – enough to satisfy nearly any loudspeaker. A pair of MC611s can easily drive an impressive home stereo system, or add more of them to power a home theater. Thanks to our unique output Autoformer™ technology, your speakers will receive the full 600 Watts regardless if they have 2, 4 or 8 Ohm impedance, allowing you the ability to use the MC611 to its full potential.

MC451 1-Channel Dual Mono Amplifier

The MC451 Dual Mono Amplifier joins the MC901 in offering the ultimate solution to bi-amping a loudspeaker. Like the MC901, the MC451 uses our Hybrid Drive™ technology that combines a separate vacuum tube and solid state amplifier onto one single chassis to produce the best possible sound performance from a bi-ampable speaker. Unlike the larger MC901, the MC451 has a more conventional McIntosh form factor and size, allowing it to fit into home audio systems, racks, and furniture more easily. Adding a pair of MC451s to your stereo system will allow your prized speakers to perform like never before.

MC3500 1-Channel Vacuum Tube Amplifier Mk II

Inspired by the amplifier that inspired a generation.

There's no denying the historic significance of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair. There had never been anything like it, and many would argue there's not been anything like it since. With an unexpected crowd of over 400,000 people, there was a lot that could have gone wrong – and some things did. But one aspect that's nearly universally agreed upon was how great all the musicians sounded. That sound quality is thanks in part to the McIntosh MC3500 Vacuum Tube Amplifiers that exclusively powered the sound system used at Woodstock.1 The MC3500 would go on to power many other influential music events.

MC830 1-Channel Solid State Amplifier

The MC830 is a 1-Channel Solid State Amplifier that features an open chassis industrial design similar to our popular MC275 Vacuum Tube Amplifier, and MA252 and MA352 Integrated Amplifiers. A pair of MC830s, when combined with a preamplifier (such as the matching C8 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier), source components like a turntable, CD player (see the matching MCD85 SACD/CD Player) or streaming music player, and a pair of speakers, can deliver a true-to-life home audio experience.

MC2301 1-Channel Vacuum Tube Amplifier

From the demands of massed chorale to full-on rock and roll, the MC2301 delivers the most extraordinarily lifelike and dynamic performance ever heard from a McIntosh tube amplifier. With an output of 300 Watts, it provides enough high power to drive even the most demanding loudspeaker. And thanks to our patented Unity Coupled Circuit output transformer, this full 300 Watts is available to 2, 4 or 8 Ohm speakers.

MC462 2-Channel Solid State Amplifier

Experience stereo bliss with the MC462 Amplifier. The MC462 replaces the highly regarded MC452 as our most powerful stereo amplifier. MC1502 2-Channel Vacuum Tube Amplifier

The MC1502 Vacuum Tube Amplifier is a stereo amplifier designed for home audio and home music systems that produces 150 Watts per channel. It is the direct replacement to our award winning MC2152 Limited Edition 70th Anniversary Vacuum Tube Amplifier, which was released in celebration of our 70th Anniversary that occurred in 2019. The new MC1502 has identical audio specifications and sound reproduction performance of the heralded MC2152 but in a more customary McIntosh design.

MC275 2-Channel Vacuum Tube Amplifier

Upon its initial release in 1961, the MC275 Vacuum Tube Amplifier became an instant favorite due to its ability to drive the power-hungry speakers of that time period with great power at low distortion levels. However, as transistors emerged and vacuum tubes became 'old technology,' the MC275 was discontinued in 1971. Thankfully, that is not where the story of the MC275 ends.

"Good audio engineering is timeless." - Stereophile

It came back into production as a special commemoration edition in 1993 to posthumously honor McIntosh co-founder and longtime president Gordon Gow. The reincarnated MC275 received incredibly high acclaim and earned its spot back in the product lineup. The overall storyline behind the MC275 and its history with McIntosh is exceptionally rich and it has been the driving force behind countless home audio systems for decades. It is hard to imagine McIntosh without the MC275.

MC303 3-Channel Solid State Amplifier

The McIntosh MC303 is our most powerful multi-channel amplifier to date, providing 300 Watts into each of 3 channels. It features our renowned Autoformer™, which allows its full 300 Watts of power to be delivered into 2, 4 or 8 Ohm speakers with the lowest noise and distortion performance possible.

The MC303 was designed with the intent to drive a home theater’s front left, front right and center channels. As most of a movie’s soundtrack is delivered by these three channels, the powerful MC303 provides all the power needed for an amazing in-home theater experience. For surround channels, combine the MC303 with our MC312 or MC152 amplifiers and fully immerse yourself in your movie collection. For music lovers, the MC303 can be used in tri-amping configurations on compatible speakers, such as our XRT1.1K or XRT2.1K.
