Rogue Audio RP1 Preamplifier

Rogue Audio RP5 v2 Preamplifier
The RP-5 was the first preamplifier based on our groundbreaking new RP-X platform. Now the RP-5 v2 builds upon that award winning heritage with world-class technology borrowed from the RP-7, RP-9, RH-5, and Triton II. The new RP-5 v2 improves both sound quality and overall performance well beyond that of the original.
The new volume control circuit now has the same refinement as the RP-7 and RP-9 with 0.5dB steps for more precise control and a lower noise floor. The headphone circuit incorporates technology from the RH-5, and with both improved sound and power, it will get the best performance from even the most difficult to drive headphones.

With a perfect blend of tube smoothness and an almost unbelievable level of detail and transparency, the new RP-7 essentially redefines what a reference level tube preamplifier can achieve.
The RP-7 is our first balanced preamplifier designed on the cutting edge RP-X hardware and software platform and every aspect of the RP-7 design is aimed at maintaining near perfect signal integrity. Beyond the computer optimized circuit topology, all of the capacitors, resistors and other critical parts are of ultra-high quality assuring the highest sonic integrity. The sophisticated electrical design is based on pure class A tube amplification with mosfet output buffering to provide huge drive along with a super low output impedance.

From the outset, our overarching design goals were directed at maintaining near perfect signal integrity along with an ultra-wide bandwidth, low distortion and vanishingly low noise floor. The flagship RP-9's innovative and proprietary circuitry is designed around the Russian military’s 6H30P tubes in a balanced configuration that stretches the bounds of modern preamplifier technology.
